The 14th edition of permutations brought together four artists:
Patrice Barry, video artist and musician, explores the democratisation of video image manipulation. He experimented with a tele-bocal reporting on an imaginary and zany news item from Méréville, using a simultaneous filming/editing technique. He also asked the other participants about his ‘fanzine box’, which can be used to create a satirical newspaper in an afternoon.
Laurence de La Fuente, director and author, tested her Instants paysages project on the banks of a stream and in the middle of fields, exploring the difficulty of capturing the moment of grace in the landscape, based on texts by Marcel Proust and Virginia Woolf. She also had the opportunity to hear for the first time her text in progress, inspired by life and the professions in a Bordeaux hospital.
Charlotte Arnaud, scenographer, has developed and clarified an original collective card game in which she questions our relationship with work in our lives in a playful way.
Clyde Chabot, director, playwright and actress, put her text Ses Singularités to work on the stage with a view to the next stages of creation and a reflection on the work of her company over the 25 years of its existence.
