Life stories invites the participants, after having watched SICILIA, to tell in their turn the story – real or fictional – of the migrations in their family and to play their own role by leading the show. The participants will be able to make the audience hear their story, listen to those of others and share with them all the culinary specialties they brought. It will also be a time of art and conviviality to live together.
Life Stories, Saint-Denis (2016-2020)
After a presentation of SICILIA, which questions the history of migrations in her family, Clyde Chabot has been running the Narrative of life creation workshop since 2016 at the Maison de quartier Pierre Sémard (2016-18), at the ADEF foyer in Saint-Denis (2017) and the Maison de la Solidarité for people without a permanent address (2019). In 2020, The project will take place in partnership with the Pinel ADOMA Residence and local residents.

Life Stories, Verrières-le-Buisson (2020)
As part of her residency as a writer in Verrières-Le-Buisson, supported by the Île-de-France region and the Department of Essonne, Clyde Chabot led the writing workshop Narratives of life in January 2020 with the former missionary sisters of the Maison Saint-Charles and during the summer with the seniors of the city as part of the Heat Wave Plan.
