Permutation #7 – 2-5 July 2013

The 7th Permutation brought together 4 artists from 2 to 5 July.

It gave visual artist Jean-Paul Thibeau the opportunity to test the appropriation of his own political and poetic writings, which until then he had presented himself in different conference contexts, in different PAF spaces; he also took part in and led a time of rest and suggestions.

Annabel Vergne, scenographer, proposed different ways of staging an extract from Büchner’s Lenz, which she had rewritten by separating each word on the page, inspired by the theme of foam (Peter Sloterdijck).

Céline Domengie, photographer, tested different ways of associating the act of culinary preparation with the artistic act: peeling thoughts, peeling vegetables, reconsidering contact with vegetables…

Clyde Chabot, author and director, has explored new visual and visual directions in his work on his own texts: Christophe S (integration of video-projected writing) and Insurrections (scenographic and dramaturgical reflections).

The Permutation concluded with a shared period of oral, written and photographic debriefing.
