For the second time, Teatermaskinen has invited Clyde Chabot to direct a permutation for the Maskinskola, a utopian training school for artists and people in social reintegration.
Marguerite Duras’s C’est tout, directed by Jonas Engman, gave rise to a visual, video and choreographic exploration based on a text in French, English and Swedish. Maurice Maeterlinck’s Les Aveugles, directed by Clyde Chabot, was experimented with in the forest. Themes such as suicide, shame and the role of women gave rise to personal writing and stage experiments.
